Matomo is operated by the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT) as standard. A server is used at the company Metanet (Switzerland) AG. Tracking by means of Javascript and pixel is completely under the control of the federal administration, all data remain in Switzerland. The data obtained is used exclusively for web analysis, it is not shared or merged with other data sets.
