In accordance with Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the relevant data protection legislation, everyone has the right to have their privacy respected, as well as to protection against misuse of their personal data. The Labour Market/Unemployment Insurance Division of the Labour Directorate of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) complies with these provisions. Personal data is treated in strict confidence and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties. No personal data is stored when you visit our website. Our web servers merely collect impersonal usage data that enables the SECO Labour Market/Unemployment Insurance Division of the Labour Directorate to identify trends so that it can improve the content of this site accordingly. This usage data is not associated with personal data. The following log data is collected when you visit www.work.swiss: your IP address, the utilised operating system and browser type, the date, time and pages visited. The following log data is also collected in connection with job searches, job posts and recruitment: the IP number and search string. This data is used for statistical purposes only and deleted within the legally stipulated time frame. Use of the job room account by private employment agencies is covered by the provisions of the relevant agreement.

Matomo

For non-personal web analysis, SECO, Directorate of Labour, Labour Market and Unemployment Insurance Division uses the Matomo software solution as standard. Matomo is operated by the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (FOITT) as standard. A server is used at the company Metanet (Switzerland) AG. Tracking by means of Javascript and pixel is completely under the control of the federal administration, all data remain in Switzerland. The data obtained is used exclusively for web analysis, it is not shared or merged with other data sets.
