Strategy Public Employment Services 2030

In late 2022, the Supervisory Commission for the Unemployment Insurance Compensation Fund instructed the unemployment insurance compensation office (SECO-TC) to draw up a strategy for the Public Employment Services. The “Strategy PES 2030” was subsequently devised by SECO-TC in close collaboration with the cantons and social partners. The strategy was approved by the Supervisory Commission in June 2023.

The strategy covers the period up to and including 2030. It is binding on the whole public employment service system, in other words for SECO-TC at federal level and for the cantonal public employment services (particularly the regional employment centres (RAVs) and the logistics offices for labour market measures (LAMs)).

The strategy outlines the vision for how the Public Employment Services will look in 2030 and sets out 12 strategic objectives:
