New work.swiss portal (CMS migration)
New work.swiss portal: updates to links
When the new work.swiss page is launched, existing links from external websites to the portal but must be updated in good time. Operators of external websites must link to the relevant work.swiss pages according to the new structure and navigation by the time of the launch. Any links that are not updated or don’t work will be directed to a 404 error page on the new portal with the whole navigation visible and a page search notice.
To allow the implementing agencies and cantons to prepare to update the links from their websites to the new portal before the launch, we will send you an Excel list with the new work.swiss links by the end of May at the same time as the announcement of the definitive launch date.
As a precaution, all links from Job-Room to work.swiss will be automatically redirected to the relevant new pages of the portal and to the new forms and documents there. These redirects are a transitional measure for the launch period. The links in Job-Room itself will also be updated to the new portal pag-es by the time of the launch.
By the end of May, information on the exact launch date of the new work.swiss portal will be published on the page New work.swiss portal (CMS migration) so that the operators of external websites can schedule the updates of the links to coincide with that date and make the changes as swiftly as possi-ble on the basis of the Excel list provided beforehand.
We recommend including a short notice on the external websites if necessary warning of possible brief, temporary non-availability or broken links to work.swiss on the day of the launch.
